Location: East End Garden: 249 Worth St. Cincinnati, OH 45226
Come join us for a delightful evening of creating your own signature scent and learning how to harvest and arrange beautiful flowers! This hands-on workshop will immerse you in the art of blending different scents to create a personalized perfume. You'll also have the opportunity to pick your own fresh flowers and learn how to arrange them into a stunning bouquet.
What to Expect:
Perfume Creation: Alison Peters, founder and owner of The Lavender Sachet, will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating two beautiful rollerball perfumes. These portable perfumes are perfect to keep at your bedside, desk, or in your purse for a quick pick-me-up. Make one for yourself and one to give as a gift.
Flower Arranging: Christina Matthews, founder and owner of The Flower Lady OTR, will take you on a tour of her largest cutting garden. You'll learn how to cut and arrange a beautiful flower bouquet fresh from the garden. All tools (shears and gloves) and a vase for your flowers will be provided.

Garden Volunteers Needed
🌿 Community Garden Update – Spring 2025 🌿
Looking for a meaningful way to spend your summer mornings? I’m currently welcoming kind-hearted volunteers to help plant and tend to flower gardens in both Over-the-Rhine and the East End of Cincinnati.
Whether you're dreaming of becoming a flower farmer, looking for a new garden hobby, or simply want to enjoy the calm and beauty of working with flowers, this is a wonderful opportunity to get your hands in the soil and grow something beautiful—literally and figuratively.
🌞 Morning availability is a must—we work before the heat and harsh sun make it too uncomfortable. No experience necessary—just a love of flowers, a willingness to learn, and a kind spirit.
👩🌾 Kids are welcome if you think they’ll enjoy helping out and can stay focused on the task at hand. It’s a great way for them to connect with nature and learn through doing.
You'll get to work alongside someone who took a leap of faith to follow a dream of flower farming. I’m happy to answer questions, share what I’ve learned, and send you home with a few flowers or plants as a thank-you for your help.
💌 Interested? Please email theflowerladyotr@gmail.com with a few dates of your morning availability in June, and I’ll be in touch!
